RECAP FOR THE YEAR
Cry because it ended.This year,
I graduated from SP.
I forgo the learning opportunity of taking up a Banking & Finance Degree at SIM.
I can no longer mug with the usual kakis.
I can no longer do school projects at SP till midnight.
I lost some relationships.
I thought of giving everything up due to guilt.
I spent lesser time with my family.
I gradually learned to let go, with or without choice.
I lost a friend who went to heaven.
I can no longer say we are classmates, but ex-classmates of poly.
I am surprised of how friends from the past can be so different now that
they don’t even know how to say a proper sincere HI.
I am no longer 19.
Smile because it happened.
However this year,
I was rewarded my first distinction by Mr. Kenneth Lee.
I am proud of our fyp achievements.
I was enrolled into SMU but still wondering if I have made the right choice.
I am happy I found a friendly bunch of new friends thru SOS.
I am glad I attended all the camps, especially OBS.
I went for a graduation trip with the clique & chingy.
I learned the other side of friends.
I gained some relationships.
I finally put all the complications to a halt though it took lotsa pain to do so.
I am convinced that perhaps time does play a part in making everything whole again.
I am happy for you have found someone who is worth giving your heart to.
I am happy for myself for I have finally learned and given my heart to someone new.
I met up some of my friends more often than usual.
I am proud that my godma fought bravely against C.
I am glad we girls are still making efforts to be together.

I frequent yahoo news pretty often, almost everyday. Then i chanced
upon this short article which summarises a series of unfortunate
happenings in Year 2008. I rmb discussing this with yihan a few days
back but reading it seems to have a greater impact. Overall, i guess
many would agree with me that this year has been a really bad year.
Firstly, we have the security lapses involving the escape of Mas Selemat
etc which created many controversies among the public at large.
Secondly, we have the financial crisis hitting every other country and we
are not spared either. In fact, this will be brought over to the next few
years even. Bad. Thirdly, the Mumbai attack which took away many
lives, including one of our fellow Singaporeans. Then, we have so many
cases of servicemen's deaths one after another.
Sad to say, these are jus some of the greater issues in our home
country. Not including Sichuan earthquake, other political unrests
involving Thailand & Tibet-China etc.
All in all, i hope the upcoming 2009 will be a better year for everyone.
More hopes, lesser tragedies.

that is life perhaps.
and no matter how tough it is, no matter how hard it is to adjust,
they must learn to live well, even without his presence.
sometimes, memories may be kept for the better,
but for the worst at the same time.

well, i just came back from a funeral wake.
it happened so suddenly that it makes it even more
difficult for us to accept his death.
my dear friend, we used to spend our childhood days together,
happily planting vegetables at the hydro-ponic,
watched em grew & then harvested.
remember the many times when we jumped into the pond
& played with water till one day we finally got caught by some
random teacher upstairs & we faked the drama-mama story
to get away from all the punishments.
there was once, we found a tortoise in our garden & we kept it as
our pet but one day, it somehow died & all of us were so upset
when we buried it underneath the soil & placed a stalk of
baby breath on top, together with our prayers.
with sweat & love, the clique would worked together to manage
the eco-garden bcos it was our lil play-land back at that time.
of cos i remembered chasing after him frm class 5-3 till the canteen
& then back to the class for something which i cant really recall.
he was very nice to me... and everybody knew it.
those were the days.
frankly speaking, i was actually glad we got into the same poly &
eventually the same class for our fyp
though we werent that close anymore.
thank you my friend,
for holding on for so long and i knew you never give up on living.
the past 7 days hv been a tough & tiring battle for u & the remaining.
a twist of fate & perhaps the injuries were indeed too severe,
you were just too tired.
i hate how life works,
why do bad guys always gt away & the innocents hv to pay?
fuck that drunk truck driver,
he better live in remorse for his whole damn life
for screwing up the life of a young promising man.
if you drink, dont drive. be responsible for your actions.
it s just too depressing to end the year in this way.
dear junjie, be happy on the other side of the world yea,
i m sure you will be greatly missed by many.
my condolences to his family.

i seriously think the games made for wii are for absolute retards !
hahhaa, junk aside wii-sports & mario yea,
I m talking bout the remaining games such as
drawing contests, dancing to the beat & swinging
ur wiimote/nunchak up & down like idiots LOL.
HAHA, and u risk getting ur tvee smashed when u
gt too engross in the games lol.
hmmmm, not a safe game for ple like me.
just look at em ! i swear sher & i aint any better,
but thank god the guys aint smart enough to
capture our unglam moments heh.
